Parton naszej szkoły, Mikołaj Kopernik, 19.02.2023 r. obchodził swoje okrągłe 550-te urodziny, dlatego 20.02.2023 r. w samo południe delegacja uczniów z opiekunem udała się pod pomnik, aby złożyć kwiaty. Była to okazja do upamiętnienia jego zasług w dziedzinie astronomii oraz działań na polu ekonomicznym. Uroczystość zakończono słodkim poczęstunkiem.
